Beginnings

Our name: "Chords from Atlantis" reminds us of how the mystery of the lost world of Atlantis is stirring in its existence. Learning the guitar can be a stirring experience as well. When you tap into the wonder of the guitar and the magic you can possess on learning the instrument, you will never look back. My goal is to help you get there.

I started playing with the arrival of the Beatles in the 60's. There was no turning back. Everyone wanted to be a rock star. My brother provided the first guitar and I was quick to modify the instrument. Modifying instruments is still done by me today. I'm still playing today both the Six string and the Bass.

Teaching

My goal is to help people of any age learn quickly with a low key approach focused on learning chords and techniques for Six String and Bass. This provides the students with a soft approach to getting started. This approach is designed to keep the students interest and let them progress at their own speed.

Guitar Servicing

I've a long history of not only playing and teaching but also modifying and repairing instruments. One of my favourite projects was building a Tribute Guitar in memory of Chicago's lead guitarist, Terry Kath.
